My Top Ten Favourite Kisses
Jan. 6th, 2011 12:29 amHow amazing is it that in this fandom, one can even have a Top Ten Favourite Kisses? Let alone that there are so many to choose from that it's actually pretty difficult to narrow it down... Not that I'm complaining, I mean... I got to spend a bunch of time looking at gifs of Adam and Tommy sucking face. Honestly that's mostly what the point of making my Top Ten was, anyway.

Om nom nom fudge.
Dec. 14th, 2010 07:46 pmSo, in case anyone's interested in my mom's (holy crap delicious) fudge recipe... here it is:
Butter a baking dish for the fudge before starting to cook.
1/2 lb. butter ( 1 cup)
3 cups brown sugar
6 oz. ( 3/4 cup) (1 small tin) Carnation Milk (not 2 %)
Put the above into your saucepan.
measure out 3 1/2 cups icing sugar for later addition Have your vanilla on hand
Combine the butter, brown sugar and Carnation milk. Bring to a boil, stirring, then boil and stir for five minutes. Watch the heat so you don't scorch it. Remove from the heat and add 1 tsp Vanilla. Then stir in the icing sugar until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Let set and then cut eat and enjoy!

Oh hey look, it's a post!
Oct. 27th, 2010 03:32 pmSo, I think I'm kind of going to take a break from Twitter for the next 10 days. I'll still be available; I'm not exactly taking a break from the fandom... but I don't plan to look at my Twitter feed. I have Tweetdeck so I'm still going to keep my DM column open (also I'm leaving text-alerts on), so if anyone wants to contact me through DMs, I'll still be totally available. I think I'm gonna keep my @replies column open, too...
If anyone wants to contact me (which I totally encourage because I get lonely as hell when I'm out-of-touch with everyone), you can DM me, PM me here on LJ, email me if you have my email address, or text me if you have my phone number. I really do want to stay in-touch, so please do contact me... The only thing I don't want to know about is drama (which is bound to occur during the 10 days); that's why I'm avoiding my Twitter feed in the first place.

I plan to work hard to try and get as much as my LBB finished before November, and once November starts, I'm going to try and do NaNo... So that's how I intend to spend a lot of the time that I would normally spend staring at my Twitter feed haha.
I may still tweet from time to time; I just won't be looking at my feed. Though obviously, if anything particularly epic happens, I will have to haha.
Anyway, we'll see how long this lasts. I'll probably be able to stick it out as long as I can stay in contact with people. :)

St-Jean Balloon Fest (lol)
Aug. 21st, 2010 03:32 pmSooooooo, last Saturday (August 14th), I went to the International de Montgolfieres de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Why, you ask? To see Adam Lambert, of course! It's funny, because it's an annual festival that takes place right near where I was born and raised (the little crap town I lived in for 23 years is on the Richelieu River). It was kind of cool to have Adam & co. in my ~native land. Also, it was the one-year anniversary of the first time I ever saw Adam live (in Hamilton, Ontario... aka the show where Adam got hit with a dildo). Pretty awesome way to spend that anniversary, don't you think?
